EDISTAR - The company

The company was founded in Castelfranco Veneto in 1993 by Marco Trevisan and Maurizio Jorge Vincenzi. 2008 sees Edistar celebrate its first fifteen years, during which time it has set a number of records: 

  • the first Italian company to offer automatic telephone outsourcing services
  • the first company in its field to achieve direct fibre optic connection
  • the first Italian company to create interactive teletext home-banking services 
  • the first company to offer profiling models for geomarketing, integrated with multichannel solutions
  • the first Italian company to offer payment solutions (via telephone and the web) together with the automatic issuing of fiscal documentation
  • the first company to revolutionize call centers by means of an integrated “StarCenter” system  
  • a company renowned for its innovative and personalized solutions, since they are fully developed in-company by a team of multidisciplinary computer programmers. 

Beyond the known telephone operators, Edistar is now the most important company in its field and is capable of providing multichannel services with a platform equipped with no less than 1740 telephone lines. A 24-hour, 7-day a week operation to satisfy the requirements of a clientele that ranges from telephone operators to banking groups, big companies, large-scale retail channels, publishers etc.
Through the innovative StarCenter system it has revolutionised the operating models of call centers by integrating and expanding their functional efficiencies with innovative multichannel services.
