Our first 15 years

1993:  Edistar was founded in Castelfranco Veneto, in the heart of the Veneto region, as a specialised services center in the automatic management of inbound and outbound telephone applications, capable of supplying interactive services  of a complex structure. 

1995: after just two years of rapid growth it was necessary to expand its technological structure.  The company moved to its new and bigger premises in Vedelago. Here it became the first company in Italy to be connected to the backbone of the fibre optic network. 

1995-2000: the new structure favours the development of application suites that adopt innovative methods in also using the Internet.  Thanks to its technicians, engineers and its managers' creativity, Edistar designs and realizes several large volume sites. During the Internet boom, new business models in community services saw Edistar take the lead.  Meanwhile, Edistar also develops the technology which allows the introduction of interactive teletext home-banking services (1997). 

2000-2005: new multichannel communication services are created and developed, a challenge that is repeated with the introduction of new technologies and Edistar is at the forefront among the most innovative and advanced companies in its field.  Ranging from banking-insurance to large-scale retail channels, the food sector and industry, consumer services and B2B, Edistar creates successful applications in satisfying the different requirements of its clientele. 

2005:  Edistar opens its own commercial office in Milan in order to better follow its clientele and its increasing turnover. 

Today:  A functional and technological office occupying over 1,250m², with 1740 telephone lines in operation and fibre optic connections with the main Operators. First-class technical and commercial teams have helped Edistar become a unique company in offering multichannel services that also use emerging technologies: videophony, wireless and VoIP.
